Description Of The Request
The project involves the on-site assembly and joining of a 30-inch diameter Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) piping system for a newly installed biogas scrubber at the client’s facility. This piping is a critical component designed to transport gas within the scrubber system and was custom-manufactured by our sister company, Troy Dualam Brockville. The client requires precise and timely assembly, ensuring that the new scrubber can be seamlessly integrated with the existing infrastructure.
Summary Description
Troy Dualam Brockville successfully completed the fabrication of the 30-inch FRP piping, which will connect the new biogas scrubber to the existing system. The scope of the project also included modifications to the client’s existing piping network to accommodate the new installation. Our team coordinated a smooth transition from manufacturing to installation, ensuring the highest quality standards were met. To expedite the commissioning process, our service teams performed the joining of the FRP pipes on-site, working in alternating shifts day and night. This continuous effort was essential to minimizing downtime and ensuring the system was up and running on schedule.
Outcome
The project required the completion of eight field joints, each meticulously carried out to meet industry specifications and safety standards. To ensure efficiency and avoid delays, our team scheduled overlapping day and evening shifts, allowing work to continue around the clock. This approach significantly reduced the total project timeline. By leveraging the expertise of our highly trained technicians and the precision of our field equipment, we ensured that the new piping system was successfully assembled, tested, and ready for operation within the shortest possible timeframe. The end result was a fully operational piping system, seamlessly integrated with the biogas scrubber, providing the client with a reliable and efficient solution for their gas processing needs.
The Result of Project
The project was successfully completed within the required timeframe, thanks to the coordinated efforts of our service teams. The 30-inch FRP piping was fully assembled and connected to the new biogas scrubber, seamlessly integrating with the existing system. By working in day and night shifts, we significantly reduced the downtime and ensured that the system was commissioned ahead of schedule. The modifications to the existing piping were completed to exact specifications, ensuring optimal performance and durability. The result is a fully operational biogas scrubber system that meets the client’s needs for efficient and reliable gas processing, with minimal disruption to their ongoing operations.
